Arda Guler arrived last summer to Real Madrid from Fenerbahce for a fee around 20 million euros. The Turkish playmaker is very talented, but he has failed to showcase his talents due to limited playing time.
This season, he only featured in give matches, only starting in the match against Arancina in the Copa del Rey, for a total of just 92 minutes played across all competitions.
Guler started the season injured and until Christmas, due to various setbacks, he was essentially unavailable. Even after returning to the group, he struggled to find playing time, despite Ancelotti himself complimenting his undeniable technical qualities on more than one occasion.
AC Milan managers are reportedly considering a possible move for the player.
For Real Madrid, a summer transfer, to give the young talent more playing time, seems inevitable.
According to reports from Marca, AC Milan are among interested clubs in Arda Guler. In particular, the two clubs could make a deal together just like how it happened a few years ago when Brahim diaz joined the Rossoneri. Milan could have the option to buy and there shall be a buy-back option for Real Madrid.
