Ahead of the match against Slavia Prague in the Europa League first leg of the round of 16 at the San Siro stadium tomorrow, AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has granted the followng statements to the microphones of Sky Sport Italia.
Here are his statements:
"We have more options: there will be a chance for many players to play. There are some who obviously have been out for a while and need playing time."
On the lineup, Pioli said:
"Giroud? We start with the best lineup. There are similarities to the Rennes match. We will also start with the best lineup on Sunday (in Serie A vs Empoli): we will have two suspended players, Leao and Florenzi."
On Yacine Adli:
"I think he is an example of someone who believes in himself and works to improve. He also has the strength to change roles: he is doing it with sacrifice and quality. Last year, he played as a trequartista, where you need to be decisive, but there was great competition, and talking to him, there was a need for a midfielder. He is not yet perfect but he is putting together many positive performances."
