Francesco Camarda turned 16 yesterday and now, he is officially able to sign his first professional contract with a maximum duration of only three years because he is still a minor.
Milan is working to reach an agreement with the player and his entourage, but it's possible that the signature will come in the next few weeks, or even in the summer to extend the contract by another year and move the expiration date to June 30, 2027, according to what is reported by Antonio Vitiello from Milan News.

Camarda's priority is Milan, There are, however, continuous rumours surrounding Francesco, especially from abroad. Borussia Dortmund remains strongly interested and is the team that has tried the most to lure him away from Milan since last summer.
But there is also interest from the Premier League, where a clarification is necessary. According to FIFA regulations post-Brexit, Camarda couldn't play for English clubs as a minor non-EU player.
One workaround could be signing for a Premier League club and being "loaned out" for two years to another club until he turns 18. However, this might not be the best plan for the young attacker's development.
In the coming days, there will be further contacts between Milan and Camarda's agents to devise the best plan for the player.
