In a press conference, Portugal's head coach Roberto Martinez spoke highly of AC Milan's left-winger, Rafael Leao, particularly praising his personality on the field.
Here are his statements about the Rossoneri star:
"I really like Leao's personality, and scoring goals is part of that. It's his talent, and personality plays an important role."
Roberto Martinez added:
"He has shown excellent maturity in the games played with the National Team, and I won't give up on him. Rafa is a very important player for us."
This season, Rafael Leao has been able to find the net 10 times while providing 11 assists as well across all competitions. He has played a total of 2669 minutes thus far in 35 matches overall. He is averaging a goal per each 267 minutes.
