The Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport in this morning's print edition, commented on the AC Milan team's victory against Hellas Verona yesterday at the Bentegodi stadium.
For the Rossoneri, it was a very good game indeed as they dominated and secured three valuable points which secures their second spot position ahead of Juventus.
The newspaper spoke highly of the American winger, Christian Pulisic who reached his ninth goal of the season. Theo Hernandez was too difficult for Verona's defence to contain while Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze (the Nigerian scored) displayed the qualities that the Milan management signed them for.
The Europa League trip to Prague could have had some consequences, instead in Hellas Verona - Milan match the 1-3 is deserved and could have been even more 'abundant' if Pulisic hadn't hit the crossbar in the first half and if Rafael Leão hadn't missed an incredible goal face to face against goalkeeper Lorenzo Montipò.
The impression is that if Milan had occasionally thought about management instead of attack, forcing Verona to expose themselves, they would have closed the match earlier. Since the beginning of December, only Inter has earned more than Milan's 36 points. Now there's a break in the league, then at the end of the month, Fiorentina and Roma in the Europa League. The Rossoneri's season could still turn into a positive one.
