Theo Hernandez made a great contribution yesterday on the field and he was among the best on the pitch, if not the best. The French full-back scored a goal and was involoved in many occasions. Defensively, he was also strong as he continues to prove his qualities as a complete left-back.
La Gazzetta dello Sport described the Frenchman's performance very well this morning:
"Theo Hernandez on certain days rises like this, with the gift of being unplayable."
Clearly, a player who can maintain such levels for so long, still young but already with great experience under his belt, is tempting for everyone. It's not new if it's admitted that several foreign clubs have long wanted to get their hands on Theo Hernandez.
There could be big English clubs at the window, Real Madrid. The one closely studying is surely Bayern Munich, which will most likely lose Davies and has identified the Milan full-back as the ideal replacement. At Casa Milan, however, the intentions are clear: the club wants to renew. Theo's contract will expire in 2026, but Milan knows that when it comes to renewals, it's always better to anticipate.
Some contacts between AC Milan management and Theo's agents have already taken place, but discussions could intensify soon, much will depend on the player's own willingness. What is certain is that Milan values Theo at 100 million euros: whoever offers less will have to be willing to negotiate upwards.
