Yacine Adli, AC Milan's midfielder, was interviewed by Sportweek for the edition on newsstands Saturday.
Here are some of his statements:
"When I see 80,000 fans singing together, I get chills: I feel like one of them. And this, even when I wasn't playing, made me feel inside, alive, close to others in the locker room, close to the fans. This love I have and it came naturally, I don't control it."
Yacine Adli added:
"In good times and bad, I put things into perspective a lot. When someone would say to me 'You can't play, you're terrible', I knew I still lacked something, but I knew something would come. Now I seek calmness, serenity, I like to hear the noise of nothing, the sound of life."
