AC Milan have several players on loan. We are talking about Charles De Ketelaere at Atalanta, Daniel Maldini at Monza, and Alexis Saelemaekers at Bologna. If they are all sold in the summer, AC Milan could generate a fee of 40 million euros which would help the club management land a marquee signing in the attack
This was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, which, analyzing Charles De Ketelaere's season, explains that the Belgian has regained confidence under Gasperini, and now the Bergamo club is seriously intending to pay Milan the 26 million euros needed to redeem him and sign him permanently. Another 10 million euros could come from the transfer of Saelemaekers to Bologna, while Monza wants to negotiate soon with the Rossoneri club for the acquisition of Daniel Maldini, currently on a dry loan in Brianza. From his departure, another 3-5 million euros for the Rossoneri.
This additional treasure trove of around 40 million would then be used by Milan's executives for a major investment in attack, with Milan ready to sign a new center forward in the summer. The names circulating are still those of Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon, Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna, Benjamin Sesko from Leipzig, and Santiago Gimenez from Feyenoord. We'll see who comes out on top in the end, but one thing is certain: the AC Milan club directors know well that they'll have to spend a lot up front.
