Christian Pulisic, AC Milan's right-winger and the USA national team captain, was interviewed by CBS at the end of the Concacaf Nations League final won by the United States against Mexico 2-0. Here are the statements from the number 11 of Milan.
How are you feeling, what do you feel after this victory?
"I'm feeling great, I'm really happy to be here. What can I say? Incredible."
Now you're a starter at Milan, you play, you score, you assist... Where are you in your career?
"I'm loving life in Milan, it's amazing. I've regained confidence, I think you can see it in how I play. It's fantastic there, but also coming back here (to the USA), winning another trophy... I really like coming back to the national team with this squad."
The differences between playing on the right and on the left:
"I never thought I'd feel so comfortable on the right if I'm honest. But I still prefer playing on the left because of how I can cut inside onto my right, but I have to admit I've learned a lot, my style of play has changed a lot and I've found ways to get into the box and score goals even starting from the right. I think I have many qualities and I can do well in both areas of the field."
What are your feelings looking ahead to the Copa America in the summer after winning this Concacaf?
"We have great feelings. It's always nice to reunite with the guys in the national team, it will be another trophy to try to win. It's all part of a journey, exciting years await us in the States with the Copa America and the World Cup not so far away. We're happy to have these opportunities and we have to show the world that this is just the beginning."
