The case concerning Rafael Leao and his transfer from Sporting Lisbon to Lille in 2018 is still relevant today in Portugal.
It seemed that everything could be resolved when the French club voluntarily paid 19.7 million euros last June, but the Portuguese club is still not satisfied.
Yesterday in Lausanne, the CAS held two hearings on the case, one for each appeal filed by Sporting, which believes it should receive the 45 million euros provided for in Leao's clause. Lille, in turn, would like a refund of what has been paid so far.
According to today's edition of Record, the Portuguese remain firm and have no intention of raising the white flag: the outcome of this dispute will be far from quick. At this moment, both Milan and the player appear to be uninvolved in the matter.
