Junior Messias, former Milan player officially redeemed by Genoa, spoke at the presentation of his team's fourth shirt.
The former Crotone winger also mentioned his experience with Milan.
Here are his words, as relayed via Milan Press:
"I cleaned bricks for 20 cents per brick, I went on to win a scudetto with Milan, of which I will always be a fan. At Milan, under Pioli, I learned a lot and improved a lot. It's a season I will never forget. I was born as a trequartista, but I played as both right and left winger, and now I've returned to play as a central midfielder, a role I like."
Messias added:
"I run better, even though I've always been fast, and I allow myself to make some plays because football should bring joy."
