AC Milan could invest heavily in the transfer market for the striker of the future. There are many names, but two stand out, namely Joshua Zirkzee and Viktor Gyokeres. Italian journalist Gianluigi Longari, spoke precisely about Milan's plan for the striker.
Here are his words for Sportitalia.
"The first step to take will be the search for a new center-forward capable of not making us regret Olivier Giroud, who is destined for the MLS. The checks we have made have led to a scenario in which the intention of the Rossoneri will be to channel most of the transfer budget that ownership will make available in the next session into the attacking department. Zirkzee is a hot name, but only under the right economic conditions. Gyokeres, on the other hand, is not: Sporting Lisbon has already planned his sale, but only by starting to negotiate from the value of the 100 million euros release clause. These are figures incompatible with the economic situation of any team in our latitudes."
