The AC Milan club management continues to keep an eye on German midfielder of Schalke 04 Assan Ouédraogo.
The talented central midfielder who is 17 years old from Schalke 04, the club from which Milan signed Malick Thiaw in the summer of 2022, is considered a promising prospect. After following him for two years, the Rossoneri management has taken action on Assan.
Ouédraogo has similar characteristics to Ruben Loftus-Cheek: imposing physique, good at making runs and dribbling with the ball at his feet. Milan has re-established contact with the agents to understand their intentions for the upcoming season. Moncada is evaluating the costs of any operation to devise a strategy for the next summer.
In the contract linking Ouédraogo to Schalke 04 (running until 2027), there is a buyout clause that will be active from next summer, and Milan aims to get a discount. It's a mission that looks complicated considering that the player is being followed in Italy by Inter and especially by Napoli, while in Germany there are Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen. The Rossoneri's willingness to try is there, the contacts are alive. Moncada wants Ouédraogo, as relayed via Calciomercato.com.
