This morning the well-known Russian site 'Championat' focused on the future of the Spartak Moscow club, considering the fact that the Russian team is expected to part ways with the young Spanish coach Guillermo Abascal at the end of this season, not sure to remain in charge of the white-and-reds considering the results achieved so far.
Many profiles over these days have been linked to the Spartak Moscow bench. In recent hours, there has been an update claiming that the Russians have directly contacted Maurizio Sarri to offer him the role of coach, considering the fact that the Italian is currently without a team after leaving Lazio.
Entering into the details of the news is journalist Maxim Nikitin, according to whom Sarri has rejected the offer of the Moscow-based club because he could lead Milan starting from next season.
The Russian journalist said, as relayed via Milan News:
"The list of potential Spartak coaches is wide and long, and there are interesting names. For example, Maurizio Sarri, who is not just someone's dream: he was actually on the list because he is currently not working, but as far as I know, Sarri said, 'Guys, in the summer I will coach Milan.' And Spartak is less interesting for him."
