AC Milan's CEO, Giorgio Furlani, has spoken to Sky Sport Italia before the match against AS Roma at the San Siro in the Europa League quater-finals first leg fixture.
On Milan's conquest of European nights, he commented:
"Milan really enjoys playing European matches. There's great enthusiasm and a beautiful atmosphere; as usual, our fans are fantastic. We expect a good match."
On Gerry Cardinale's impact today:
"Gerry is very enthusiastic, always very committed with us to look at the present and the future, to grow and do well."
Will the current results influence future choices?
"We focus on the present; we have an important match tonight and we want to finish the season well. The present is the future; let's focus on our boys."
On the summer transfer market, Furlani said:
"Last year we made a lot of changes; this summer will certainly be different. Let's enjoy today's players. If there's any need for reinforcements, we won't be shy. Every year we have to build a competitive team to try to win. We don't succeed every year, but we try again the following year."
Is Joshua Zirkzee worthy to be a Milan player?
"You've seen Zirkzee play, tell me... *laughs*"
