According to what was reported this morning by La Gazzetta dello Sport, after weeks of rumours and speculation, yesterday morning there was a meeting between Gerry Cardinale, head of RedBird and owner of the AC Milan club with Damien Comolli, president of Toulouse.
From this meeting it emerged that Comolli will not join the Rossoneri management as the new director of the Rossoneri.
Therefore, they will continue with the current structure which includes Giorgio Furlani (CEO), Geoffrey Moncada (technical director), and Zlatan Ibrahimovic (senior advisor and trusted associate of Cardinale) as key figures.
In particular, the former Swedish striker will have an increasingly central and important role, with his opinion carrying significant weight in the decisions that will be made.
The upcoming appointments seem to be very much his choices as they involve two of his trusted men: Jovan Kirovski and Daniele Bonera, who are expected to become respectively the sporting director and coach of Milan's U-23 team.
