Il Corriere della Sera commented on Pioli's reaction to the defeat against AS Roma in the Europa League at the San Siro stadium. This was the headline that the Italian newspaper chose in this morning's print edition:

Yesterday, the match against the Giallorossi was analysed in a long video session where Pioli showed the numerous positional and passing errors. The coach then strongly reiterated that Milan can overturn the result on Thursday in the return leg at the Olimpico.
In the hours following the defeat at San Siro against Roma, there has also been much talk about Rafael Leao, who had a very negative performance and was booed when substituted. In Rome, the real Leao will be needed, but it is still wrong to blame him entirely for the loss because all the big players failed, starting from Theo Hernandez to Christian Pulisic, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and also Olivier Giroud.
