For AC Milan, there will be a new coach to arrive to replace Stefano Pioli in view of the next season. The club is beginning to plan the strategies to follow ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

Milan will try to take advantage of Geoffrey Moncada's expertise and relations in France, given his years spent working in Ligue 1 under Monaco's command, and the excellent relationship between Lille and Milan has been known for years. It's no coincidence the numerous operations carried out between the two clubs (Leao, Maignan, and Djalò, just to name a few). But the future could hold a new agreement between the two clubs.
In fact, within the Rossoneri environment, despite consolidating contacts with Bologna to secure Joshua Zirkzee, the progress of Jonathan David continues to be monitored. In recent days, Napoli, for post-Osimhen scenarios, has accelerated contacts, finding a draft agreement on contractual terms, a salary of 3 million euros net per season with a 5-year contract, but has not managed to close the deal with Lille as there is a significant gap of 10 million euros (35 offered by Napoli, while the French club's asking price is around 45 million euros).
Considering Olivier Giroud's departure and the possible non-renewal of Luka Jovic, Milan keeps an eye on the Canadian striker. All parties have taken their time, with the Rossoneri observing, keeping contacts alive with the French club, but not only for David.
In fact, as per Calciomercato.com, AC Milan management is also interested in Tiago Santos, a Portuguese right-back born in 2002, who arrived in France for 6.5 million euros from Estoril Praia, after starting out in the youth ranks of Sporting Lisbon.
At the moment, there is still no official offer from the Rossoneri to sign the 21-year-old, but they have expressed interest in the player, who has been constantly monitored throughout the season.
The Rossoneri are evaluating the option, along with various other targets (a central defender, a defensive midfielder, and at least one forward), also considering that Alessandro Florenzi and captain Davide Calabria's contracts expire on June 30, 2025. There are no updates on their renewals (especially for the captain, who expects a significant salary increase, read details here).
It should be noted, however, that Juventus has also shown interest in Tiago Santos. The Bianconeri are considering his name as a possible replacement for Timothy Weah, also from Lille, in case Giuntoli fails to unlock the real target for that area of the field: Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna. Interests, excellent relationships, and playing ahead: Milan is moving on Tiago Santos.
The 21-year-old Portuguese right-back is valued by Transfermarkt at 8 million euros. So far this season, he featured in 39 matches with 3158 minutes played in total. He has 3 goals and 2 assists registered to his name.
