The Curva Sud Milano has released an official statement before the match between Juventus and Milan:

"The season is drawing to a close, and the mediocrity that has characterized it for almost its entire duration has given way to a disastrous and calamitous ending. As if that weren't enough, it has been further amplified by the wicked declarations of some executives, as well as by the rumors regarding the name of the future coach, which once again make us understand that the ambition to relive the glory days is not the primary prerogative of this club.

It's been almost two years since Mr. Cardinale's arrival, and a transitional and settling phase was more than legitimate to consider. But now it's time to get to the point and demonstrate with actions the real objectives of the club: whether to build an ambitious team or to assemble year after year a team capable of just scraping by in positions that guarantee access to the Champions League, waiting to build the new stadium and nothing more.

It must be clear to everyone that if the latter is the answer, we won't stand for it! It's more than legitimate to think that spending rivers of money on the market like other clubs from other leagues is not feasible, but it's also unrealistic to think that we can become great again by building the team solely through a few sales and then reinvesting the money in unproven players.

We cannot think of having a winning project if, almost in May, we still don't know who the new coach will be, making it difficult to assemble a team compatible with the new manager's requirements in the market. Chaos reigns within the club, with deafening silences, communication strategies that are embarrassing to say the least, and little clarity about roles.

Gentlemen, patience has run out! AC Milan is not a product to be speculated upon, and Milan is not a city content with just participating. AC Milan has behind it a people who, by history and tradition, are accustomed to being at the pinnacle of world football. If this ownership thinks it's up to these prerogatives and demonstrates it with concrete actions (and the choice of the new coach will already tell us a lot), it will continue to enjoy the tireless support of a passionately in love people. If not, forget about living in Milan as a happy island, as you have done until today.

Always with Milan in our hearts!"
