After spending more time in the infirmary than on the training ground this season and without ever playing with the First Team, Mattia Caldara is ready to bid farewell to Milan.
This time for good: the contract expiring in June will not be renewed.
The former Juventus player has spent last season on loan at Spezia. That experience, however, did not end with a permanent transfer. He made 20 appearances then in the 2022/2023 season with Spezia. This season, he played twice with the Primavera squad under the guidance of coach Ignazio Abate.
Caldara, who is right-footed and stands at 187 centimetres tall, is 29 years of age. His market value is understandably very low. According to Transfermarkt, it is set at just 1.2 million euros.
