Marco Brescianini has given an interview to the microphones of Gazzetta dello Sport to talk about his first season in Serie A and the great finale with Frosinone, in the midst of a relegation battle.
Here are the words of the Italian midfielder, a product of the Milan youth sector who left the club in the summer on a free transfer, but with 50% in favour of the Rossoneri management on any future resale.
"The dream obviously is to play for a top club. It wasn't easy to leave Milan where I've been since I was eight. Gattuso as a mentor? I had him in Milan's Primavera team."
He added:
"From the very beginning, he (Gattuso) gave me confidence, strength, and awareness, making me understand the professionalism that is needed."
So far this season, Marco Brescianini, who is 24 years old, has managed to score 4 goals and provide 2 assists from the central midfielder role with Frosinone in 32 Serie A matches with 1969 minutes played in total. He stands at 188 centimetres tall. He is left-footed and his contract with his current team runs until June 2027. The former Milan player also still has room for growth.
