In the ongoing big casting for the future of the Milan bench, the name of the Portugal national team coach Roberto Martinez has also emerged in recent days. The Spanish tactician began his adventure with the Portuguese national team in January 2023, after the end of the World Cup in Qatar, now preparing to face the European Championship, the first major competition after leaving Belgium.
According to today's edition of 'O Jogo', the Portuguese daily newspaper, the former Everton coach is not interested in the possibility of joining AC Milan as he wants to put all his attention on the work which he is doing with the national team.
Roberto Martinez, although considered by the Rossoneri management, wants to be 100% focused on leading the Portuguese national team and he is committed to his ongoing contract which runs until the end of the 2026 World Cup.
