Could Luka Jovic and Milan cotinue their path together next season? It seems that the parties, according to the latest rumours, are moving towards a contract extension.
In the past few hours, there has been an important, perhaps decisive, contact between the agent of the Serbian striker, Fali Ramadani, and the Rossoneri management: all parties involved communicated the willingness to go forward. The aim now is to renew the deal which runs until the end of the current season.
As per what is told by the Italy-based website, Calciomercato.com, Milan will not exercise the option for an annual renewal agreed last summer for Luka Jovic but is working on a new agreement with Ramadani for a longer duration.
The player is very happy to continue his adventure in the Rossoneri and has no intention of listening to other offers that may come his way.
The former Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt player has managed to help the team with some important goals and performances. In fact, Luka Jovic indeed has 9 goals and 1 assist in 28 appearances across all competitions after playing a total of 1147 minutes. The AC Milan club considers him as a good backup for the striker's position which is currently occupied by Olivier Giroud, who shall be replaced by someone else in the summer transfer market window.
