The Milan transfer market could be crucial for the future of this team. In fact, in the summer, the club will bid farewell to Olivier Giroud, who is destined for a new adventure, this time in the MLS.
Luka Jovic's contract renewal is still uncertain. For this reason, at least one striker will be needed.
According to the latest rumours, the first name remains that of Joshua Zirkzee of Bologna. La Gazzetta dello Sport takes stock of Milan's possible targets. Here is the full list.
The first candidate is still Joshua Zirkzee. Milan will try, but there is strong competition from Juventus and Arsenal. Therefore, alternatives are needed. Benjamin Sesko has always been among the favourites. He has physicality and skills, attacks the depth. In his first season at Leipzig, he scored 11 goals in the Bundesliga, 2 in the Champions League, and 2 in the German Cup. In the four games played in April, he scored four times.
The other name mentioned by the paper is that of Serhou Guirassy. He costs 17.5 million euros, the value of the clause, while for the other candidates, 50-60 million euros are needed. In this 2023-24 season, he scored 25 goals, the second top scorer of the league after Harry Kane. With him, Stuttgart is third in the standings. The player, however, doesn't excite the fans too much and is already 28 years old.
In Milan's transfer market list, there are also Jonathan David and Santiago Gimenez.
The Mexican striker of Feyenoord, and Viktor Gyökeres, Swedish star of Sporting CP, however, are expensive. Jonathan David, on the other hand, is a striker who has been liked for a long time. His contract expires in 2025 and the most credible evaluations speak of 20 - 25 million euros.
