It's certainly no secret, Joshua Zirkzee is AC Milan's dream for the attack in the upcoming summer transfer window. The Rossoneri have identified the Dutch striker as the heir to the number 9 shirt that will be left vacant by Olivier Giroud, who is ready to join Los Angeles FC.
The Bologna forward has been one of Moncada's proteges even before he started playing in Emilia. However, to acquire the player, at least 60 million euros must be allocated: with 40% of the resale destined for Bayern Munich, director Sartori will try to maximize the revenue from the transfer.
In this sense, Alexis Saelemaekers could come to Milan's aid: the Belgian, owned by AC Milan, has played on loan at Bologna this season and has performed very well, garnering praise and appreciation. The buyout clause is set at just under 10 million, and the Rossoneri could use his sale as a technical counterpart to lighten the economic burden to be paid to Bologna. In this regard, Zirkzee might not be the only player to be used as part of a swap deal: today Tuttosport also suggests the possibility of Lorenzo Colombo, a forward who has been on loan at Monza this year.
