This morning, La Gazzetta dello Sport is convinced that Milan is ready to accelerate on Benjamin Sesko, a young striker born in 2003 from Leipzig and from the Slovenian national team.
According to the newspaper, the Rossoneri could seal the deal with the player even before reaching an agreement with the new coach. Sesko is a profile in line with the latest Milan strikers: he is tall and uses his physical strength to make room in the penalty area.

Despite his young age, just 20 years old, he has already shown important qualities. This season, his first in the Bundesliga with Leipzig, Sesko has scored 12 goals and especially in the recent period, he seems to have adapted to the German championship: he has scored in all of the last five games played. In addition to these goals, he has added 2 in the Champions League and 2 in the DFB Pokal.
A good haul for a first experience in one of the top 5 leagues. Milan has had him on their radar since he was scoring for Salzburg in the cup alongside Noah Okafor: in two years, 29 goals in Austria, as an under 20 player. Milan is ready to make a move as per the source, it would be a low-risk investment; Sesko is no longer just a promise.
Sesko was bought last summer by RB Leipzig, who took him from their 'cousins' at RB Salzburg: in his contract, a clause of about 50 million was included. A tempting figure, considering that for other top strikers on the Rossoneri's list - Zirkzee, Gyokeres, or Gimenez - the demands could be higher. Furthermore, the value of the boy is expected to increase in the coming months, so now might be the right opportunity, especially considering that the Rossoneri club, they will try to obtain some discount anyway. Whether it's Sesko or another name, one thing is certain: Milan's new striker will be the most expensive acquisition in the club's history, unlikely to spend less than the 42 million euros forked out for Bonucci by Fassone and Mirabelli. To avoid Leipzig standing firm on the full price, it is also important to act in advance, especially with the European Championship around the corner, which could risk showcasing Sesko, who is a protagonist with his Slovenia. Compared to the other names for Milan's attack, he is the youngest profile and has scored more goals than Zirkzee.
