At the end of the season, there is less and less time left and the time for decisions, as well as subsequent communications, is approaching. Milan is not leaking anything about the choice of the new technical leadership out of respect for the current one, represented by Stefano Pioli.
What would leak, as revealed by Tuttosport today, is the clear willingness of a not yet protagonist actor: Antonio Conte. "If the proposal arrives, he's up for it", writes the Turin-based newspaper today, reiterating how the coach from Lecce has expressed willingness to consider a possible offer from AC Milan.
Contacts with the profile in question have always been denied by Casa Milan, but negative feedback has arrived because he is considered unsuitable for "characteristics, costs, requests, and management" to lead this Milan. Another reason would be the search for a foreign coach rather than an Italian one, possibly young and in line with the club's ideas.
Conte, for his part, has asked for a three-year contract worth 6.5 million euros plus bonuses in discussions with Napoli, but has also opened up to the Rossoneri idea. "It remains to be seen whether Milan is bluffing or whether it's him proposing himself to Milan, which can't make up its mind", the newspaper reiterates.
