The AC Milan club management is looking for a centre-forward in view of the summer transfer window. But, there are also other improvements needed such as a full-back and midfielder.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the club should try to sign two players in these positions with an estimated total transfer cost of 50 million euros.
An important sum, considering the striker issue, but one that could be facilitated by the 32 million euros that should come in from the permanent signings of Charles De Ketelaere to Atalanta and Alexis Saelemaekers at Bologna.
The first name mentioned by the newspaper this morning, for the full-back role, is that of the 25-year-old Brazilian Emerson Royal. Not a new name in Casa Milan's notebooks: the player had already been sought in the past before moving to Barcelona.

In Catalonia, an unforgettable experience resulted in his transfer to Tottenham where he became a starter. This year under head coach Postecoglou, he has played less, and for this reason, the club might convince the player to join a project, the Rossoneri's, where he would have a more central role on paper.
The strength of this profile, in the eyes of the Rossoneri management, lies in his ambivalence, namely his ability to play on both the right and left: a quality that is very appealing to those managing the Rossoneri squad if we consider Florenzi, Kalulu, and Terracciano. Tottenham, however, has not put him up for sale, hence asking for around 30 million euros, practically the same amount they paid to bring him to London in 2021.
For the midfield, instead, the strong name is that of Youssouf Fofana, a Frenchman born in 1999. The midfielder was one of the main architects of Monaco in a season culminating, for the Principality's team, in a return to the Champions League. His profile is a missing piece in the Rossoneri midfield, which is made up of playmakers and skillful players who like to go forward.
Fofana would have a more defensive role in the middle of the field, exploiting his physicality: he would finally be a substitute for Franck Kessie. It should also be noted that the biggest advantage is his contract expiring in 2025, in a year: in the past, Monaco rejected an offer of 35 million euros but with only one year left in the club, the French team cannot push too hard if it doesn't want to lose its talent for free in the summer of 2025. For this reason, Milan aims for a discount of up to 20 million euros.
