Paulo Fonseca, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, remains the top favourite for the Milan bench, as Stefano Pioli will be leaving at the end of the season. However, he is not the only name to consider because there are several profiles on the Rossoneri's list being closely monitored.
Among these are also Marcello Gallardo, who is highly regarded by Moncada, and Graham Potter, former Chelsea manager.
Milan has had contact with several foreign coaches, while the Italian options do not seem likely to take off: Roberto De Zerbi is liked and has even been contacted, but no offer has been made to him. As for Antonio Conte and Massimiliano Allegri, recently dismissed by Juventus, they are not considered to align with Milan's project.
