At Casa Milan, there is much discussion about the choice of the new coach, which will be made in the next two very intense weeks. But, first, the issue regarding Stefano Pioli needs to be resolved, as he is tied to Milan for another season.
An agreement must be found for the final year of his contract, which costs the Rossoneri club around ten million euros in total.
According to the Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera, this might not be so simple.
Speaking about his future, yesterday Pioli said to Sky after the defeat against Torino:
"I have no meetings scheduled with the club. We always meet at the end of the season; I don't know if we will meet before or after the Salernitana match. I haven't spoken with any other team; I have too much respect for Milan and the fans. I'm not thinking about the future; I will think about it when the time comes. I am focused on finishing the season in the best possible way."
