White smoke is increasingly close for AC Milan in the search for their next coach. With Stefano Pioli having his bags packed for weeks now, the club has conducted an extensive casting process, resulting in one name emerging. We are talking about the former AS Roma tactician Paulo Fonseca.
Coming off a good season with Lille, narrowly missing out on direct Champions League qualification to Brest at the last moment (Lille will have to play qualifiers to enter the competition), the former Shakhtar boss has said yes to Milan.
The club has offered him a three-year contract worth approximately 3 million euros per season. Barring any sudden stops, he will be the next to sit on the Rossoneri side of San Siro.
