Carlo Ancelotti gave an interview to the microphones of the newspaper 'La Repubblica' ahead of the Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, scheduled for Saturday at 9 PM. The coach of the Blancos also touched on topics regarding Milan and Italian football.
Here are his words.
On Italian football:
"What is missing, for me, is in the stadiums. And in the environment. In short, there is quite a bit that needs to be updated. On a technical level? I don't see world-class players, apart from Donnarumma in goal. I'm talking about a generation similar to that of Pirlo, Totti, Del Piero. It still needs some time."
On Milan, Ancelotti said:
"I follow the team from afar, with affection. An extraordinary Brahim Diaz has returned from there. Milan has a great talent like Leao. Sometimes you need to be tough on him. If he were with me, I would be tough on him every day."
