In the last few hours, there has been a fundamental breakthrough for the formation of Milan Under 23, with a dramatic reversal by a Serie C club, as pointed out by Pianeta Milan. For the team to participate in the Lega Pro championship, one of the clubs needs to withdraw from the category or retire. And that's what's happening. Paolo Di Nunno, president of Lecco, which was just relegated from Serie B, has declared that he does not have the money to register the Lombard club for the championship, and this would open the door for the Rossoneri. Here are his words reported by 'Calcio e Finanza':
"I will not provide the 350 thousand euro surety needed for registration in Serie C. I don't have the money; I need to pay off other debts. I told the Municipality of Lecco to seek a 350 thousand euro line of credit for registration in Serie C. They responded that they would try to find an entrepreneur willing to do so. I am now selling the house I have in central Milan. In the coming days, I will sign the deed and pay the salaries and contributions for May and June. I am a serious person."
