As reported by Il Corriere dello Sport in this morning's print edition, AC Milan will have a budget of around 100 million euros for the transfer market.
Just under 50 million euros will come from the Champions League, to which can be added 23 million euros from the sale of Charles De Ketelaere, plus 15 million euros from the sales of Junior Messias, Rade Krunic, and Alexis Saelemaekers.
Additionally, the club will save on salaries due to the departures of Simon Kjaer, Mattia Caldara, Olivier Giroud, and Antonio Mirante. However, the club's operating expenses must be deducted from the total.
AC Milan might consider substantial offers for their star players. This year, the main candidates are Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan, but the Rossoneri are doing everything possible to renew their contracts and retain their best players. This will also depend on the individual players' willingness to stay and reach a financial agreement to extend their contracts, or to seek experiences elsewhere.
At Casa Milan, there is a belief that this year, 4-5 targeted signings will be sufficient to make the team competitive and to compete with Inter, Juventus, and Napoli for the title.
