In recent weeks, Mats Hummels has been linked, mainly by German journalists, to AC Milan. Speaking to dotsport.it, the father and agent of the Borussia Dortmund defender confirmed that his son's future is still undecided:
"There will be a meeting with Dortmund in the coming days, and they have the priority. He needs a few days to recharge his batteries. Then, if an agreement is not reached with Dortmund, we will consider other offers. But what is certain is that Mats will not go to Asia, America, or too far from Munich."
Hummels senior thus made it clear that his son would like to move to a city not too far from the Bavarian capital:
"We don't know what will happen, but we definitely prefer solutions that allow us to reach Munich in a few hours."
Milano, and Rome, and Turin would therefore be among the options for the German defender as these cities are not too far from Munich. Hummel's contract expiring next June 30th, has the opportunity to carefully choose how and where to end his career.
