Maurizio Sarri gave a long interview to Corriere della Sera in which he spoke about his current situation:
"Have I received any calls? Not from Italian clubs, unfortunately. And honestly, I'm a bit disappointed. There were vacant positions at teams that I thought could be a good fit for me. I wasn't even contacted for a chat. It's up to the presidents to decide, of course. But I deserved to be heard for at least fifteen minutes. Am I referring to Milan and Fiorentina? They were two teams suitable for me, certainly."
During the interview, the former coach of Napoli, Juventus, Chelsea, and Lazio also shared a regret from his coaching career:
"Do I have a regret? Maybe Milan. I was very close, and then they didn't want me. Then came Napoli, the most intense experience of my career."
