Reggiana bids farewell to Alessandro Nesta, who is leaving to join Monza.
As the former Milan defender approaches his move to Monza, where he will officially start on July 1st, another former Milan defender is entering Reggiana's radar, being considered among the names to fill the vacant coaching position: Ignazio Abate.
Abate has recently concluded his stint as the coach of Milan's Primavera team, where he demonstrated important skills, leading the team to the Youth League final, which they lost to Olympiacos.
Abate is not the only name on Reggiana's management's shortlist; they are also considering William Viali, who was Cosenza's coach last season and just terminated his contract yesterday. According to Sky, the two are in contention to replace Alessandro Nesta.
