Last Thursday, during the press conference for the presentation of the Rossoneri season held at Milanello, Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed that the three top players Maignan, Theo Hernandez, and Rafa Leao will remain with the Rossoneri. Doubts, however, about his words emerged a few hours later when, from the French national team's camp in Germany, Theo Hernandez left his future open, stating that he would think about it after the European Championship.
Journalist Alfredo Pedullà discussed this situation in his editorial for the Sportitalia website. Here's what he said, as relayed via Milan News:
"Listening to Ibrahimovic one day and Theo Hernandez the next, we were assailed by a triple doubt that could become quadruple. Ibra announced that Maignan, Theo Hernandez, and Leao are destined to stay with the Rossoneri because they are irreplaceable pillars and because he wasn't aware that their ideas were different. However, just the next day, Theo said exactly the opposite, with several question marks about his future, as if he needed to ponder for a long time before making a definitive decision. Ibrahimovic and Theo Hernandez speak two different languages within 48 hours, practically polar opposites, yet they are on the payroll of the same club."
