Speaking to SportMediaset, Alessandro Costacurta shared his thoughts on the future of AC Milan. Here are his statements:
"Leao is the most important player for Milan. I hope for their sake that he can remain so for a long time. It's clear that he needs to continue improving, even though he has already done a lot this year, though perhaps not as much as everyone expected. Last year? Let's not forget that the Rossoneri finished second, ahead of teams that, on paper, were stronger. To get closer to this Inter and make their mark on the European stage again, they need to focus on some defenders, especially the central ones, who fell short last year."
Costacurta added:
"Transfer market? I think one signing per department could be enough; what they need most now is experience."
