After signing Kelly on a free transfer, Newcastle aims to make another defensive move and has set its sights on AC Milan's centre-back Fikayo Tomori. This morning, in fact, the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport reported that the Englishman, who is a pillar of Milan's defence, shall not be sold for a fee that is less than 45-50 million euros.
It is unlikely, however, that Milan will approve Tomori's departure unless an irresistible offer, similar to last year's bid for Tonali, emerges. The Rossoneri have already lost Simon Kjaer, and parting with Tomori would mean losing two leaders of the Milan defensive department in one fell swoop.
