Daniel Maldini is one of the key figures in the outgoing transfer market for AC Milan. According to gianlucadimarzio.com, the contract of the attacking midfielder and winger, born in 2001 and the son of the Rossoneri legend and icon Paolo Maldini, expires on June 30, 2024, not in 2025 as previously believed.
The report released late last night indicates that the 22-year-old Italian will not renew his contract with the Rossoneri club, and therefore, he will be free to find a new team on a free transfer.
In reality, the new destination could be an 'old' one. Last season, Maldini split his time between Empoli and Monza, on loan. Especially with the Brianza team, he gave his best, playing 11 matches, scoring 4 goals, and providing 1 assist. For this reason, Paolo's youngest son is ready to return to Adriano Galliani's club and be coached by his father's friend and former teammate, Alessandro Nesta.
