In recent days, there has been talk of a possible exchange between Milan and Newcastle in the upcoming summer transfer market, with Malick Thiaw heading to the Magpies and Kieran Trippier to the Rossoneri. Besides the fact that a few weeks ago, there were speculations from England about another type of deal involving Sandro Tonali and Fikayo Tomori, it seems that the English club's interest in the defender is real.
There have indeed been meetings between the two clubs where Milan have communicated that they value their center-back at around 25 million euros.
The latest information comes from the colleagues at Sport Mediaset. According to their reports, Milan did inquire about the possibility of signing Kieran Trippier. However, the deal did not take off due to the excessively high salary demands of the 33-year-old Englishman.
Despite this, Newcastle is still pushing for Malick Thiaw, and the Rossoneri management has not ruled out his transfer. Therefore, anything is indeed possible, but it is clear that the German player's departure will only occur if a significant offer is made.
