Hugo Lloris, who has passed the starting position of the French national team to Mike Maignan, gave an interview to L'Equipe in which he also talked about the AC Milan goalkeeper. These are Lloris' words:
"I am not at all surprised that Mike is playing at this level. Today he is the symbol of this team; he is very solid, like the defence and the midfield. He exudes calmness and has a great personality. As for (Robert) Lewandowski's penalty (1-1, on Tuesday), I saw it happen and I also think the rule should be changed to make it fairer. Lewandowski stops two or three times in his run-up, and it is very complicated for the goalkeeper to keep one foot on the line."
