AC Milan is not only focused on strengthening their attack but also their midfield. What the Rossoneri lacked most during the last season was a defensive midfielder capable of screening and filtering between the lines. Therefore, the Rossoneri is looking at its notebook and placing Youssouf Fofana at the top of the list.
According to Italian journalist Alfredo Pedullà, however, the situation may not be resolved before the end of the European Championship. Fofana is currently with Deschamps' France team, preparing for their quarter-final match against Portugal.
Meanwhile, Monaco, the club that owns the midfielder's contract, has set the price: at least 20 million euros are needed.
