Fabio Capello, interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport, commented on the new league season that has taken shape with the calendar draw. His judgment goes further, also speaking about the market.
"Inzaghi starts in pole position. Inter is strong and, unlike Milan and Juventus, continues with the same coach. Derby in September? Something will start to be understood about the values and prospects of the Rossoneri."
Capello added:
"What a start to the calendar. Especially for Fonseca, already under fire from the fans. It's striking to see the Rossoneri without Italians in the possible starting eleven. Milan must build on Maignan, Theo, and Leao. The base is there, but they need to add a good striker to compete with Inter for the Scudetto. I would always take Zirkzee, but Lukaku would do well."
