Milan has been working on the right-back position for several weeks. This negotiation has been confirmed by Emerson Royal himself, who mentioned the Rossoneri club in a couple of interviews.
According to today's Gazzetta dello Sport, the Tottenham player is convinced by the Rossoneri proposal and wants to move to Italy. The club has already reached an agreement with the player's entourage, promising him a salary of 2.5 million euros, the same amount he earns in England.
The Spurs, however, are standing firm, not so much because they want to keep Emerson at all costs, but because they are asking for the right price. There is a gap between the Rossoneri's offer and the London club's demand. At Casa Milan, they have put 15 million euros on the table, while Tottenham wants more. At the moment, given these premises, it is clear that the negotiation has stalled a bit.
