Alexis Saelemaekers would not fit into Fonseca's new plans for Milan next season. Despite his positive season at Bologna, the Belgian winger could again be shown the door by the Rossoneri due to competition in his position, including Christian Pulisic and Samuel Chukwueze.
At the same time, however, it's not entirely ruled out that the Portuguese coach may change his mind about Saelemaekers during this training camp.
Nevertheless, the '99 class player could represent an interesting bargaining chip for Milan in this transfer market. This was confirmed this morning by Il Corriere dello Sport, which discussed how the Belgian winger could potentially be included in negotiations with Roma for Tammy Abraham's move to Milan. Abraham's valuation of 30 million is reportedly forcing Milan's management to consider this option, which is also favored by Daniele De Rossi, an admirer of Saelemaekers.
