Giorgio Furlani and Zlatan Ibrahimović have repeatedly stated that Milan is not in a hurry because the transfer market is still long, but the Rossoneri are ready to accelerate some operations in the coming days, particularly those that should bring two reinforcements to the defence at Milanello, namely Emerson Royal from Tottenham and Strahinja Pavlovic from Salzburg.
Tuttosport reports this morning that the AC Milan club management is preparing a decisive push for both players as the gaps with their current clubs are narrowing.
For example, in the case of the Serbian central defender, there is "only" a three million euro difference between the asking price and the offer: the request is 25 million euros, while Milan has offered 22 million euros. For Emerson Royal, however, the gap has almost been closed entirely, and an agreement with Tottenham is very close.
The Rossoneri's intention is to finalise these two deals within ten days, after which they will focus on the midfield, where the priority is to acquire a defensive midfielder to place in front of the defense (Fofana from Monaco is still a viable option, although there have been no updates in recent hours and Monaco continues to demand 35 million euros), and on the attack, with Fullkrug from Borussia Dortmund still being the preferred choice to complete Milan's offensive line.
