AC Milan head coach Paulo Fonseca hopes Tammy Abraham could be signed: negotiations with Roma over figures and terms will start soon after an initial phase of exchanging ideas about possible technical counterparts to include in the deal.
As reported by Calciomercato.com, Milan's idea would be to take Abraham on loan with an option to buy in order to assess his physical recovery before proceeding with a permanent transfer.
Roma would prefer to include easy conditions to trigger an obligation to buy, according to the newspaper Il Romanista. There is also consideration of potentially including some Rossoneri players in the operation.
The main threats to Milan come from the Premier League: Everton, Leicester, and Bournemouth who are led by former Roma general director Tiago Pinto, are interested in Abraham as a replacement for Solanke, recently sold to Tottenham for 65 million euros. Tammy strongly wants Milan, but Roma would prefer to sell him to the Premier League for 30 million euros.
