Álvaro Morata is the forward which AC Milan needs. He will be the starter for Paulo Fonseca's lineup. As for Luka Jovic, it is a different situation.
The Rossoneri are looking to complete the attacking department to be handed over to the new coach Paulo Fonseca with another forward who can alternate with Morata in front of the trio consisting of Chukwueze, Pulisic, and Leão, and they wouldn't make a fuss if Jović accepted a suitable offer, writes Calciomercato.com.
The point is that, so far, the Serbian has turned down a series of offers.
After Fullkrug chose West Ham for an impressive 30 million euros to Borussia Dortmund, the top choice now is Abraham from Roma. There was talk of a swap including Noah Okafor, but only because Jović’s departure is particularly complicated by the rejections that the former Eintracht Frankfurt player is putting in line.
Many inquiries have been stopped in their tracks: some from Saudi Arabia, which remains active on big names, even if not on the rise in European football; Olympiacos, the Conference League champions, in the final against Fiorentina, a club from Russia, and also one from Turkey. None of these options have met Jović’s approval, who would still like to try his chances with Milan as he has done over the past 12 months.
Additionally, there’s Chiesa complicating things. Both players share the same agent, Fali Ramadani, who is currently 100% focused on finding a solution for Federico, who was recently discarded by Juve according to Thiago Motta. So, Jović’s future isn’t among the most pressing issues, at least from the player’s side.
